At the Home base

Sagip Baganga's home base for the acceptance of donations and repacking of goods is situated at the University of the Immaculate Concepcion at the President's Office along Bonifacio Street. Thanks again to Sr. Ma. Marissa Viri RVM for allowing us to stay in her office and make it as Sagip Baganga's Drop Off Center.

Sagip Baganga As Beneficiary For Help for Baganga

Again, Sagip Baganga is very lucky enough to become the beneficiary of a charity mission of Every Nation Church known as Help For Baganga. This started with the idea of couple Alex and Linda Sams who are based in the United States. They set up a Paypal account for those who wanted to donate and send it to Sr. Maria Fe Gerodias, RVM for Sagip Baganga.

In behalf of Sagip Baganga, thank you so much Help For Baganga and to Every Nation Church for organizing such charity mission and also many thanks to all donors who sent their donations thru Paypal which was being set up by Help For Baganga.

Donations and Volunteering

With the advertisements/ infos being spread through social networking sites and even through word by mouth or SMS, Sagip Baganga started to receive donations since December 8, 2012 at the President's Office of the University of the Immaculate Concepcion. We were just lucky coz Sister Marissa (many thanks to you Sister) allowed us to occupy her office as Sagip Baganga's venue to accept and repack donations sent by the donors. We're also glad that volunteers have flocked in to help us pack the relief goods intended for the people of Baganga.

Here are the pics of the donations and the Sagip Baganga in Action:

The Advertisement

Sagip Baganga is a group of professional BagangeƱos which is being supported by an RVM Sister, a once sister principal of Baganga who held the place closest to her heart. Since the group has no funds at all, not even armed with assorted groceries for the people, we came up with this advertisement to generate funds and donations for our cause - to help the people of Baganga with their basic needs. Hence, this ad in a Facebook Account:

"SAGIP BAGANGA will officially open on DECEMBER 8, 2012 for DONATIONS. Drop off venue is at the UNIVERSITY of the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, Bonifacio Street, Davao City from 8am to 5pm.

Relief Items needed: Rice, Canned Goods, Milk, Cup Noddle

Sagip Baganga Banner

Right after receiving updates of the devastated Baganga in pictures, Sagip Baganga through the initiative of Jean T. immediately have some pics made into a banner/tarp and posted it at the University of the Immaculate Concepcion Bonifacio Campus where we are currently accepting donations. Too bad though that this tarp was found gone a few days after this was posted. That didn't stop us from gaining the hearts of our benevolent donors.
