Typhoon Pablo or known internationally as Super Typhoon Bopha made its landfall in our beloved hometown in Baganga, Davao Oriental last December 4, 2012. This typhoon has brought about power and electric outage since its landfall making it impossible to know the situation of our families and loved ones back there. Hours have been spent on the internet so that people around the world could be updated about what has happened to the place where Pablo made its landfall. To no avail, we failed. It was only after a day when we got to hear about our place whom they already considered as a "ghost town", a place at "ground zero" level because a lot of people lost their homes while those houses that still stand up to today have gone roofless because of Pablo's wrath. Despite what happened to our homes, I personally felt relieved knowing that my relatives specifically my parents are left unharmed.
This is now the town proper of Baganga after Pablo's wrath:
